1. Introduction

Welcome to PetDosageChart ("we", "us", or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal data you may share while using our website. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

2. Information We Collect

The PetDosageChart calculator and medication guides work without an account. If you voluntarily join the PetDosageChart Meds early-access list, we collect your email address, the time you consented, and limited source context such as the referring page, medication slug, species, experiment variant, and CTA placement. We do not collect a pet profile, weight, calculated dose, diagnosis, or prescription history through the early-access form.

Our analytics providers may also process the following device and usage data:

• Browser type and version
• Pages visited and time spent on pages
• Referring website
• General geographic location (country/region level)
• Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
• Approximate network and device identifiers, including an IP address processed by the provider
• Interactions with calculators, navigation, and outbound links

Your email address is not sent to Google Analytics or PostHog, is not used to identify a PostHog person, and is excluded from session replay capture.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Manage the Meds early-access list and send requested launch or testing updates
• Measure aggregate interest in the planned Meds product and its disclosed price
• Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it
• Monitor website performance and fix technical issues
• Analyze aggregate traffic trends

4. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for analytics and, when available, advertising. The core calculator works without an account. Blocking optional storage may reduce our ability to measure usage or personalize advertising, but it does not remove access to the site's content.

Google Analytics and PostHog currently provide our traffic measurement. You can limit their cookies and local storage through your browser or privacy tools. Google advertising and its consent-management runtime are not active while our AdSense application is under review; we will update this policy and introduce the required consent controls before activating advertising. Embeddable calculators do not initialize our analytics because they cannot reliably read the host page's consent state.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and interactions, and PostHog to understand product usage such as calculator and navigation behavior. These providers process pseudonymous device and event data under their own terms. See Google's Privacy Policy and PostHog's Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information.

We use Neon PostgreSQL as a managed storage processor for Meds early-access records. PetDosageChart encrypts email addresses before they reach database storage; access is restricted to the application service and project owner, and database traffic is encrypted in transit. Neon processes stored records under its own service terms.

We load Google AdSense code for publisher verification, delivery of Google's Privacy & Messaging consent platform, and advertising if the site is approved. When ads are served, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar signals to select and measure ads, subject to your consent and regional privacy choices. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

6. Outbound Links and Referral Measurement

Some outbound links to services such as Chewy or Vetster include campaign parameters so we can identify the destination and placement in our analytics. PetDosageChart has not yet activated partner-issued affiliate tracking credentials for those links. If a commission-bearing relationship is activated, qualifying links will be labeled and this policy will be updated.

Once you leave PetDosageChart, the destination's privacy policy applies. Outbound commercial relationships do not control medication records, calculator results, or editorial conclusions.

7. Data Retention

Google Analytics and PostHog retain pseudonymous event data according to our account settings and their service policies. Unconverted Meds early-access records are retained for no more than 180 days from the initial signup unless you remain subscribed to launch updates. Recording price interest does not extend that period. We do not intentionally collect a pet's medical record, diagnosis, or prescription history through the calculator or early-access form.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
