How to give Claritin to your dog
Use plain loratadine (Claritin) only — do NOT use Claritin-D, which contains pseudoephedrine, a decongestant toxic to dogs. Can be given with or without food. Claritin causes less drowsiness than first-generation antihistamines like Benadryl.
